For over 45 years, Community of Hope has worked to improve health,end homelessness and partner with communities to make Washington, DC more equitable. We believe that everyone in DC should be healthy, housed, and hopeful.

Major Achievements

We serve almost 16,000 patients a year, providing medical, dental, emotional wellness, and wraparound support services.

In 2025, we were recognized by the Health Resources Services Administration as a Health Center Quality Leader. We are one of two health centers in DC who are at the silver level. We also were in the top 25% of community health centers nationwide for our health outcomes in diabetes and hypertension management, cancer and HIV screenings, and dental.

Our results are a testament to our compassion, expertise, and commitment to innovation. We offer maternal fetal medicine specialty services, sexual health services, team-based care for chronic disease patients, and WIC at several of our sites. Since 2014, we have been recognized eight times as a Washington Post Top Workplace, based off the feedback of our 400-member team.
