Chief of Staff

Barbara Floyd Jones is the Chief of Staff at the DC Primary Care Association, where she provides strategic leadership for communications and external affairs, as well as executive support to the Office of the President & CEO. With more than 30 years of experience in communications, public affairs, project management, and stakeholder engagement, she is known for leading complex initiatives that deliver measurable results, foster strong partnerships, and strengthen organizational performance.

Throughout her career, Barbara has successfully managed multimillion-dollar national education and outreach campaigns, directed cross-functional teams, overseen grant administration, and built collaborative relationships with federal, national, and local partners. She previously served at NeighborWorks America for nearly 20 years. Her expertise has been sought by organizations and agencies including the Hope Now Alliance, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

An accomplished public speaker and communications strategist, Barbara has delivered keynote presentations at conferences and has appeared on nationally syndicated programs including Growing Bolder, the Tom Joyner Morning Show, the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, and the James Fortune Show. She has also been featured in media interviews with The Washington Post, Forbes.com, and AOL.com. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University.
