Nancy Ban brings extensive experience in senior leadership roles within mission-driven hospitals and public health care systems.
She most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of CommUnityCare Health Centers in Austin, Texas, one of the largest community health centers in the state. In this role, she oversaw operations across 28 health center sites and led initiatives that improved access to care, enhanced patient experience, and advanced population health.
Before her time at CommUnityCare, Nancy held executive leadership roles at Central Maine Healthcare, overseeing system-wide operational, strategic, and patient experience initiatives across inpatient, ambulatory, and long-term care settings. Her experience spans rural and urban health systems, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in delivering equitable care.
Earlier in her career, Nancy supported transformation initiatives at Centura Health in Colorado, contributing to cross-functional projects within the operating group across multiple hospitals.
Nancy is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and holds a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a Master of Arts in Corporate and Public Communications from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Joe and their two children. You will often find them on the sidelines at her son’s soccer games or cheering on her daughter at horseback riding competitions. As a family, they love staying active and exploring the outdoors together.
