Sarah Grantham is the Vice President of Medicare Network at Aetna, a subsidiary of CVS Health, and is responsible for national Medicare network . She is a strategy and operations leader with broad experience in development, implementation, and execution of ACO models, Medicare Advantage operations, payer partnerships, and population health programs.
Prior to joining Aetna in 2021, Dr. Grantham was the Chief Operating Officer for Innovation Health, a Commercial and Medicare Advantage joint venture health plan in Northern Virginia owned by Inova Health System and Aetna. In that capacity, she was responsible for overall plan operations and innovation. Dr. Grantham also held multiple roles at Evolent Health, including the launch of new provider-sponsored Medicare Advantage business, serving as General Manager for a Next Generation ACO partner, and the development and operationalizing of multiple Medicare and Commercial Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and negotiating payer partnership deals on behalf of health system partners.
Dr. Grantham completed her doctoral work as a National Science Foundation Pre-doctoral Fellow in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, where she also completed a graduate certification in Management of Technology through the Haas School of Business.
