Vice President, Programs & Health Center Support

Hope Ramsay is the Vice President of the Programs and Health Center Support department.  After beginning her career as a Registered Nurse, Hope went on to earn a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of the West Indies.

Hope has over 25 years’ experience in designing and managing health and community programs in the government, not for profit and academic settings in Canada, Jamaica, Bahamas, Guyana and other Caribbean countries.  Her areas of focus have been in HIV, Harm Reduction, Homelessness, Mental Health, Black Indigenous People of Colour (BIPOC), Youth, 2SLGBTQ and newcomer populations.

Prior to joining DCPCA, she was the Executive Director for Moyo Health and Community Services in Toronto Canada, where she was responsible for a regional program focused on providing equitable and respectful services to those facing health, economic, social and other inequities.

At DCPCA, Hope will be responsible for supporting health center staff through technical assistance and training on evidence-based models for enhancing patient care and operations.
